These terms apply to purchases made through lornabeard.com. Please read them before placing an order.

2. Artwork and product descriptions

I take care to describe and photograph my artwork accurately. Please read the description, dimensions, materials and framing information before purchasing.

Colours may appear differently depending on your device, screen settings and lighting. Photographs may not fully capture the texture, brushwork or surface finish of an original painting.

Room-setting photographs are for illustration; please use the stated measurements to judge the artwork’s size. Frames and accessories are included only where the description specifically says so.

These points do not affect your consumer rights or my responsibility to supply artwork that matches its description.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include any applicable UK taxes. Delivery charges are shown before you complete your purchase.

Payment is made using the options available at checkout. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, full payment is required before dispatch.

4. Orders

Please check your order and delivery details before completing your purchase. If you notice an error, contact me promptly so I can help.

The initial acknowledgement email confirms that your order has been received. Your order is accepted, and a contract is formed, when I send an email confirming acceptance.

If I cannot accept your order—for example, because an original artwork is no longer available—I will let you know promptly and refund any payment taken.

If I discover a pricing or description error before accepting your order, I will explain it and ask whether you wish to proceed on the corrected basis. If you do not, I will refund any payment taken.

5. Delivery

Available delivery locations, charges and expected timescales are provided before purchase.

Unless we agree a different delivery period, your order will be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days of acceptance.

If a delay occurs, I will contact you with an update. Your legal rights concerning late delivery remain unaffected.

Where I arrange delivery, I remain responsible for the artwork until it comes into your physical possession, or that of someone you nominate to receive it.

Please contact me if your order does not arrive or appears to have been damaged in transit.

6. Returns and cancellations

My Returns and Refunds Policy forms part of these terms.

For eligible online purchases, you may change your mind by notifying me within 14 days, starting the day after delivery. You then have a further 14 days to send the artwork back.

You are responsible for the direct return delivery cost when returning an artwork because you have changed your mind. For items that cannot normally be returned by post, the return cost or a reasonable estimate will be provided before purchase.

For an order returned in full, I will refund the purchase price and any standard outward delivery charge paid. Any additional charge for an upgraded delivery service is not refundable.

Refunds will be made without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving the returned artwork or evidence that you have sent it back, whichever is earlier.

7. Faulty, damaged or misdescribed artwork

Your artwork must be of satisfactory quality, fit for any purpose agreed with me and as described.

If there is a problem, please contact me at so I can resolve it in accordance with your consumer rights. Where appropriate, this may involve a refund, repair or replacement.

I will cover reasonable return costs where the artwork is faulty, damaged on arrival or not as described. The change-of-mind return deadlines do not limit your rights concerning faulty goods.

8. Copyright

Buying an original artwork or print gives you ownership of the physical item. It does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights.

Unless separately agreed in writing, copyright in my artwork remains with me. Reproduction, commercial use or distribution of copies requires my written permission, except where permitted by law.

I may continue to display images of my artwork in my portfolio and marketing and produce reproductions unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

9. Personal information

Personal information provided when you enquire or place an order is handled as explained in my Privacy Policy.

10. Responsibility

I am responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by my breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing in these terms restricts your statutory consumer rights.

11. Questions and complaints

Please send any questions or complaints to lorna1107@hotmail.com including your order details where relevant. I will aim to respond within five working days and work with you to resolve the issue.

12. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The version in place when you order will apply to that purchase unless we agree otherwise.

13. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. This does not remove any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live or any right you have to bring proceedings in your local courts.
